Hi there!
I’m Christina Michelle, a 30 year old dog lover and coffee addict. I started my photography journey in 2016 and have loved it ever since. I specialize in motherhood and birth photography and recently completed my birth photography certification! I also love love love, golden & blue hour sessions, you know the ones with that glowing sunset and dreamy lighting? Ya, those are my absolute favorite!
I serve the Sacramento and Placer Counties of California. My lifestyle photography is the art of capturing special moments- especially the ones that often pass us by too quickly. Those flirty smiles and precious laughs are the reason I create! There’s a crazy feeling of genuine love and real emotion, forever immortalized in a frame where life stands still and a story unfolds. Why I Chose Birth Photography
I have always loved babies and had a fascinations with pregnancy, and birth. Growing up I would watch shows on TV about mamas telling their birth stories and I was always just in awe.
While going through high school I struggled so much with. my body. I dealt with bullying and multiple chronic conditions that we couldn’t seem to find answers to for years.
Spending some time in treatment, I relearned how to think about myself. I discovered how beautiful and strong a woman’s body really is and that it is capable of so much! Through this time I started going back to church. Finally having a relationship with Jesus, is really what has carried me through the very difficult times. My God is so much bigger than anything I’ll ever have to face. My body is a temple and I’ve learned of the power it holds! I knew I wanted to help other women feel that confidence and empowerment.
I found photography. I loved taking pictures for friends and family and taught myself pretty much everything about my cameras and editing. I offered to photograph the labor and delivery of a few friends and I absolutely fell in LOVE!
I hope and pray that I get to be a mama some day but until then, I’m able to play a tiny little part of your birth story and help you cherish (and sometimes even share) the memories. And to me that is such a high honor.
I don’t take being invited into your birth space lightly and it is so important to me that all of my mamas are respected and supported as you make the right decisions for you and plan what you want your experience to look like. Everyone’s story is a little bit different and I am a big advocate of my clients having their own voice and feeling heard.
With my photography, I hope to bring a little something special to your birth space, be a cheerleader and champion for you as you go through your labor and delivery process, and ultimately provide you with a gallery that authentically, uniquely and beautifully empowers you and tells your birth story. May the photos be for you to keep for yourself or share with the generations to come.

I’ve never had any mama regret having photos done at any stage whether it be a maternity session, or birth sessions. The only thing I hear mamas regretting is NOT booking me for that time.
Many women go through labor and delivery, and once their baby is born they tend to forget some of the little details over the years. Birth photography gives you these little reminders of how extraordinary your birth story is.

It’s empowering! Seeing how strong and beautiful your body is while bringing life into the world that you’ve been carefully growing the last 9 months is like no other feeling! Going through those first few months after baby is born can be stressful but having a reminder of what you are capable of can make a huge difference in how you think about and treat yourself through this time!
